4 Good Comedians @Blue Sky

Friday February 17th 2017   4Good Comedians 4Good Comedians is back on Friday 17th Feb to bring you our first show of the year.  Our acts for the evening are MC -- Bethany Black, Simon Lomas, and headliner Bren Riley plus supporting acts.

BREN RILEY  There’s nothing bland or predictable about this stand-up comic. Brendan’s Liverpudlian accent and lively blend of anecdotes, gags and inspired improvisation bring a refreshing blast of cheerful North Western humour and make him a sought after host and headline act at major comedy venues, Universities and festivals:

“unpretentious likeability ... gregarious, enthusiastic, cheeky and talkative ... Riley can be relied on to do the job required of him - to make the audience laugh" Chortle “One of the brighter names from the North West .. a great compere” Guardian “incredibly refreshing” **** Metro ‘Irreverent, inventive and most importantly hilarious’ Liverpool Daily Post “excellent interaction with the audience ... A+ to Mr Riley” BBC online “Brendan Riley does the business ... bouncy and engaging” The Scotsman “ Worth the price of the admission alone .. Scouse wit and raconteur who holds the show together and doesn’t so much warm up the crowd as set them on fire” Lancashire Evening Post “I have never, ever seen so many bikers crying tears of laughter in my life” 100% Biker Mag

A meal of a curry and a drink will be available from 6.30 pm to around 8pm. This must be ordered directly at Blue Sky Cafe 01248 355444 no later than 24 hours in advance of the show.  Cost £10

Our last few shows have been sell out so we advise that you purchase your tickets at the Blue Sky Cafe as soon as possible. We hate turning people away but have been forced to do so recently.  Doors open at 6.30 pm for EARLYBIRD drinks. The comedy starts at 9pm. It's going to be an absolute dazzler of a gig.

We hope to see you all there. Well not all of you. Just the good ones. Tickets £10 (£9 NUS) available directly from the Cafe in person, online at https://www.wegottickets.com/event/383932 (10% admin fee applies) or (highly unlikely) on the door on the night.    Please note our Gig payment policy - no card payments taken for gig tickets except online, but you can buy in advance at the Cafe in person or pay at door on the night.     Blue Sky Cafe Ambassador Hall
